How to use the Yes or No Wheel

  1. Ask yourself a clear yes-or-no question.
  2. Select Spin and watch the wheel turn.
  3. Read the answer where the pointer stops — YES or NO, straight away.
  4. Not satisfied? Spin again — every spin is a fresh 50/50 draw.

When to use a Yes or No spinner

  • Quick decisions — where to eat, which task first, go or no-go.
  • Classrooms — pick between two options at random.
  • Meetings — break a tie without a long debate.
  • Games — a coin-flip choice that everyone can see.

Is the result really random?

Yes. Each spin draws from your browser's cryptographic random number generator (crypto.getRandomValues) with rejection sampling, so YES and NO are exactly equally likely — a true 50/50. The wheel animation only shows the answer that was already chosen; the result never depends on timing.

FAQ

Is it really 50/50?

Yes. The outcome uses an unbiased cryptographic draw with rejection sampling, so neither side is favoured — not even slightly.

Can the wheel be rigged?

No. The answer is chosen before the spin by cryptographic randomness, and the wheel simply animates to that preselected sector. Nothing about speed, timing, or where you tap changes the odds.
